5 KEY TIPS TO COMPETING IN MULTIPLE OFFERS
1. Make sure you have met with a mortgage professional to obtain a pre-approval – this is VERY important to do.
2. Have your home inspector selected ready to go.
3. Select your lawyer.
4. For property home insurance, research providers ahead of time.
5. Work with your agent to assess the competition – doing more than the average research is key to positioning yourself well in a multiple offer situation.

And I’d like to add one more thing to this list. And that is to stay as calm as possible. This can be hard to do with tensions and emotions high. When I’m working with clients in a multiple offer situation it is important that I maintain a calm and poised demeanor because this sets the tone for the negotiations!
